Cinque Terre and Santa Margherita, Italy

Out travels and adventures through beautiful Cinque Terre and Santa Margherita, Italy. Cinque Terre and Santa Margherita, Italy Hi everyone!…

Cinque Terre and Santa Margherita, Italy

I hope you had a relaxing, sun filled weekend. Our farmers market finally opened this weekend and I was in heaven. I love this time of year and all of the fresh produce, flowers, and local vendors.

Ok, I am officially a slacker and have been slowly updating you on my Europe trip. Well here we are to Italy. A place I always dreamed of going and it happened. And it was just as amazing as I imagined. Truthfully, it exceeded my expectations, especially Cinque Terre and Santa Margherita. Two places on the Mediterranean that are beautiful, vibrant places and just fit my husband and I’s personalities. We got to hike, take boat rides and relax with a glass of wine, a beautiful view of the ocean and a plate of delicious seafood. You can’t beat that!

Santa Margherita Ligure was our home base for exploring Cinque Terre. My parents had stayed there a few years ago and gave us the recommendation and it was a good one! They were so right about the beauty, relaxation and the seafood in Santa Margherita Ligure. It is a city on the water where boats bring seafood into restaurants daily–you can’t get fresher than ocean to plate in a matter of a few hours.
