Oatmeal Scotchies

I have some exciting news to share today with you guys!

This news is the reason why these Oatmeal Scotchies are making an appearance on the blog. I had this strange craving for butterscotch the other day which led me to these cookies. I like butterscotch but it has never been the first thing I think of putting in cookies. I am glad I had this craving though, because butterscotch + oatmeal cookies are a match made in heaven.

Back to that news…you probably guessed it considering I am talking about cravings and cookies. We are excited to announce that we are pregnant with our third baby. We are going to be a family of five in September! The past 14 weeks have been pretty rough I must admit between feeling so exhausted I can’t get off of the couch, to having strange cravings, to pretty much not wanting to eat any of the normal foods I eat. Aside from that normal pregnancy stuff I feel great and we are so blessed to be welcoming another child into the world.
