Easy Blue Cheese Burger

Method

  1. 1

Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook your burgers on the grill straight from the freezer (no thawing required).

  2. 2

Grill for 5-6 minutes on each side. When the juices begin to rise to the top of the burger it is time to flip them. Burgers are done when they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.

  3. 3

Heat a medium sized pot over medium heat. Add the cream and simmer on medium-low for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

  4. 4

Add half of the blue cheese and continue to stir and break apart the blue cheese. Slowly whisk in the Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for another 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

  5. 5

Stir in the remaining blue cheese and slowly continue to stir. Remove from the heat. You want the second half of the blue cheese to still be chunky in the sauce. Place the blue cheese sauce in a serving bowl.

  6. 6

Set out 4 buns and top with arugula, red onion, and then the burgers.

  7. 7

Top the burger with the blue cheese sauce or you can skip the sauce and just top the burger with crumbled blue cheese.
