Frozen Yogurt Granola Bites

Method

  1. 1

Line a 6 cup muffin tin with cupcake liners. Set aside.

  2. 2

In a small bowl combine the honey and granola and stir until the granola is coated by the honey.

  3. 3

Spoon the granola into the cupcake liners using the spoon or your finger to press down the granola {you can to form a crust for the yogurt}.

  4. 4

Divide the yogurt evenly over the granola. Add chopped fresh fruit of your choice.

  5. 5

Put the muffin tin in the freeze for 5-6 hours, or overnight. When you are ready to eat the frozen yogurt bites remove from the freezer and let sit on the counter for 15 minutes to help them thaw slightly. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to use any flavor yogurt you would like along with any fresh fruit to go with it. I have tried skipping the cupcake liners but I feel these come out of the muffin tin much easier in the cupcake liner so I suggest using them. These last between 1-2 months but any longer they might start to get freezer burn. If you are stacking these make sure to place parchment paper between so they don't stick together. Remove air: press out as much air as possible to prevent freezer burn. Freeze first, store second: after freezing the bites solid in the cubes you can then remove them and transfer them into an airtight container that is freezer safe or a ziplock bag.
