Method

  1. 1

Thaw your puff pastry at room temperature according to the package.

  2. 2

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place parchment paper on a flat surface and sprinkle flour on to help the dough not stick.

  3. 3

Unfold the dough and use a rolling pin that has been sprinkled with flour to roll out each piece of puff pastry.

  4. 4

Use a knife to score a 1 " border on the dough. Use a fork to prick holes into the surface of the dough on the inside of the border you created with the knife.

  5. 5

In a small bowl crack two eggs and add 2 Tablespoons water to create an egg wash. Use a brush to brush the egg wash over the dough.

  6. 6

Put the parchment paper with the dough onto a baking sheet.

  7. 7

Bake the puff pastry for about 7-10 minutes. Take the puff pastry out of the oven once it starts to turn golden and puffs up. Let it cool for about 3-4 minutes.

  8. 8

Add the turkey sausuage, red bell peppers, cheese and then the eggs. I suggest you break the eggs in a bowl carefully first one by one and then slowly place them where you want them on the pizza.

  9. 9

Bake for about 8-10 minutes depending on how you like your eggs cooked.

  10. 10

Remove from the oven and slice. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Tip for the eggs- break the egg into a bowl and then gently place the egg on the pizza. This makes it easier then just breaking the eggs straight on the pizza. How to reheat puff pastry breakfast pizza – Place on a baking sheet in a 400°F oven for 7-10 minutes until heated through.
